The Staff Dashboard Passcode is a simple mechanism to prevent accidental access to the Staff Dashboard by customers while maintaining ease of use for sales staff. Let’s explore how to configure and manage the passcode.

Configuring the Staff Dashboard Passcode

The Staff Dashboard Passcode can be set up in Settings > Others > Staff Dashboard, under the ‘Staff Dashboard Passcode’ section.

Passcode Options

Three passcode configuration options are available:

1. Enable Passcode:

• Set a numeric passcode by selecting this option and entering the desired passcode in the modal.
• Letters are not allowed; the passcode must consist only of numbers.
• Once configured, the passcode will appear alongside a Change Passcode button for updates.

Use Store ID as Passcode

Use Store ID as Passcode

1. Use Store ID as Passcode:
   • Automatically set the passcode to the Store ID.
   • Store IDs must consist only of numbers to work as passcodes.

Turn Passcode Off

1. Turn Passcode Off:
   • By default, the passcode is disabled. Select this option to allow unrestricted access to the Staff Dashboard.

Enter Your Passcode View

Upon configured in Settings, sales staff can see this Enter your passcode view when entering the Staff Dashboard.
